Detroit ring with your gang name on it with your date

This one meant something to me like all of the others because in 1998 is the year that I had to get out and get it on my own.

We moved and I had no one from my gang around to roll with but I was sixteen years old and I still had to start my life and to be someone.

Somebody asked me yesterday’s a seminar why I chose 16 years old and why I had to be someone that year. And my answer was honest, I’m from Detroit and a year or two prior I read whoreson and he got down at 16 and I was like fuck it, it’s time for me to get down.
